Xanthan Gum is a natural polysaccharide with exceptional qualities as a rheology control agent in aqueous systems and as a stabilizer for emulsions and suspensions. As drilling fluid Xanthan Gum provides good stability against salt, high temperature and shear. Its pseudoplastic rheology improves the mobility control of water and keeps the cuttings in suspension.
